TL;DR
Pomotown does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or analyze any of your personal data. Everything happens on your device. We have no servers that store your information. We have no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services that receive your activity.
Your pomodoro sessions, settings, streaks, and statistics are stored locally on your iPhone, iPad, and (if you enable it in a future version) your personal iCloud account. We cannot see any of it.
1. What We Don't Collect
Pomotown does not collect:
- Your name, email, phone number, or any account information (Pomotown has no accounts and no sign-up)
- Your location, contacts, photos, calendar, or any other personal content on your device
- Your IP address, device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV), or advertising identifiers
- Usage analytics, crash reports, telemetry, or product metrics
- Your pomodoro sessions, focus durations, labels, themes, or any activity within the app
- Any information whatsoever to any server we control
We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, or any other third-party analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting service.
2. What's Stored on Your Device
Pomotown stores the following entirely on your device, in Apple's standard secure on-device storage:
- Your focus session history (start time, end time, label, duration)
- Your streak count and statistics
- Your preferences (focus duration, break duration, selected theme, ambient sound choice, volume)
- The date of your first launch (in iOS Keychain — used solely to compute the free-trial countdown)
- A flag indicating whether you have purchased the one-time unlock
