BoltBrigade ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and what it does NOT do.
Data we do NOT collect
BoltBrigade does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- The App does not require an account, login, or any registration.
- The App does not transmit gameplay, scores, telemetry, analytics, or device identifiers to any server operated by us.
- The App does not use third-party SDKs that track users (no Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no AppsFlyer, etc.).
- The App does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, or health data.
- The App does not use cookies or tracking pixels.
Local Network usage
BoltBrigade's multiplayer mode (LAN Co-op and LAN PVP) uses your local Wi-Fi network only:
- The App broadcasts and listens for nearby BoltBrigade rooms over UDP on port 8912.
- When you join a room, gameplay state is exchanged peer-to-peer between phones on the same Wi-Fi network.
- No multiplayer data leaves your local network. It is never transmitted to our servers (we operate no servers).
iOS will ask for "Local Network" permission the first time you tap LAN PLAY. You can revoke it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
On-device storage
The App stores the following on your device only:
- Your gameplay save (current level, score, lives, high score)
- Your settings (sound volume, language, difficulty)
